Three Years of Surviving the Challenges

For me, studying in Cavite National Science High School is a very big challenge. Unlike in other schools, CNSHS has a rule that your grades must not be lower than 85. Giving your best shot is the most important thing to do. Being a student of CNSHS, makes me proud because all people know that whoever is studying there is good. But, in spite of that, the friends that you will have in that school are like treasures.`
As a competing third year student, many of my classmates now, became my classmates when I was a sophomore or a freshmen student but some of them did not became my classmates, that’s why every time I talk to them I become shy. But as the time passes by, with the help of different activities that we are conducting everyday in school, the shyness was changed into happiness. Some of them, whom I can say that I cannot be friends with them or as close as I do to my other classmates, because many of their attitudes made me to do that. Some of my new friends are Rhemielene, Patricia and Joyce. I also have best friends, Gem and Camille. We first became classmates when we were still sophomores. I like to hang out with them because they are always making me happy.
I also have new set of teachers. Some of them became my teachers when I was in the lower years. All of them are like my past teachers. They are strict when it comes to academics, but we can hang out with them just like friends. Mrs. Atendido, our adviser, is a kind of teachers that you will enjoy your time with her. Mrs. Arceo, our Math teacher, is the teacher whom you will be afraid of because of her voice but she’s not like that. Mr. Ces, our Basic Statistics teacher, is like a joker, you will not be bored when you attend your classes with him but you will gain knowledge when you listen to him. Mrs. Malimban, our Analytic Geometry teacher, the way she teaches us is the one I really like because every time she starts her discussion, you will understand it already. Mrs. Berganos, our Research and Chemistry teacher, she is very strict that you cannot talk whenever she is discussing. Mrs. Nazareno, our AP teacher, she is just like Mrs. Berganos. Those are my teachers.
Of course, I also have my new classroom, new environment. It was well-groomed. Our classroom is very wide compare to my former classrooms. Though it is wide, I think we are over-crowded there because we are 35 students. But there, you can treat it like your second home. Our adviser is very strict when it comes to cleanliness of our room. We must segregate all the trashes because if not, she will get angry to us. That’s how she maintains the cleanliness in our room.
Being a third year is somewhat exciting yet challenging, because you are very near to the happiest part of our high school life, graduating. But do not be so comfortable with that because there is a chance that you will not graduate in CNSHS if you will waste your chance. But, my loving friends inspire me to study hard and give my best.
